We are writing to urge you to support our friend, Justice Sebastian T. Patti.

     Justice Patti was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Illinois Appellate Court, 1st District in August 2009 to fill the vacancy of Justice Leslie South.  He now seeks election to this position.  Prior to his appointment, Justice Patti served as a Cook County Circuit Court Judge.  He was first appointed to the Circuit Court in 1995 and won county wide election in 1996.  Justice Patti served as a Supervising Judge of the Circuit Court since 1999.

     Justice Patti brings 30 years legal experience to the bench.  Before he was appointed and elected to the bench, he practiced law with the US Environmental Agency in Chicago, fighting polluters and protecting the public health, safety and welfare of the people of Chicago and Cook County. 

     Justice Sebastian Patti has been found Qualified, Recommended or Highly Recommended for the Appellate Court by all of the Bar Associations.  The Chicago Council of Lawyers said, “Judge Patti is considered to have excellent legal ability and judicial temperament.  He is widely respected for his courtroom management skills and is exceptionally knowledgeable and hardworking.  He is viewed as a leader among judges and a mentor to new judges.”  The Chicago Bar Association stated, “ …Justice Patti has distinguished himself on the bench and is highly regarded for his work ethic, fairness and outstanding demeanor.”  He was found "Highly Qualified" by the Women's Bar Association of Illinois, and he's been endorsed by IVI-IPO, Personal PAC and the Illinois Federation of Teachers.

Justice Sebastian Patti brings a commitment to public service to the bench. 

 We need to keep Sebastian Patti on the Appellate Court.
